Off Key Karaoke

We're doing a Show Tonight at Tricky Dick's in Boca Raton.  As always, Sissy will be hosting and making sure everyone has a great time tonight. 

Also, looks like we'll be starting a Monday night Karaoke Show at the Tipperary Pub in Deerfield Beach.  Also hosted by Sissy.  I'll keep you posted with the details!

WOW...what a party.  The guests of honor, Francis and Daisy arrived by limo and it was full speed ahead.  The DJ got everyones blood pumping and everyone was out on the floor shaking their stuff.  It was one hell of a party and one I'm sure both Daisy and Francis will remember forever.

Tonight there is a huge party planned at The Toad in Coral Springs for Francis and Daisy, the former owners.  Knowing Jimmy, the new owner, this will no doubt be one hell of a party.  There'll be live music and a DJ later on.  So come out to the Toad in Coral Springs to wish Francis and Daisy the best in their future endeavors.

The festivities start at 8PM. 

PS..last I heard, there'll be a new waitress working...I hear shes hot!

Now you can submit requests for new songs online!  No need anymore of wrting down your request for a new song on a slip and handing to to one of us at the show.  So now you don't have to worry about your request getting lost or forgotten.

Just fill out the Song Request Form and we'll do our best to get it by the next update.  You need to be a registered member of the site and logged in to request songs online.   So if you haven't registered yet, take a minute and register by clicking on the register button in the menu above.

Hey everyone!  Start off the week right with a Great Karaoke show at The Toad in Coral Springs.  We'll have over 70 new songs available starting tonight.

Sissy will be covering for Aimee tonight and you know how she is!  So come out and hang a while with me, Sissy, Jimmy the Owner, and the rest of the gang at The Toad for a night of fun.

And don't forget to Print your own songbook and bring it to the show!

The Printer Friendly version of the Create Your Own Song Book feature is ready for you guys to use.  When you go to your personal song book now, you'll see a print button to the right.  Just click on that button and a printer friendly version of the page will pop up. 

You'll note that it now does not have the checkboxes or the get lyrics link, but in the place of the get lyrics link, there is a space for you to write down the order that you want to sing your songs in.  So you can just print your list, write the order that you want to sing the songs in, hand it to the KJ when you get to the show. 

Now you can just sit back and enjoy and not have to worry about getting your hands on a song book at the show. How easy is that! 

Yep!  It's back and better than before.  You can now once again select songs from the main song book and create your own personal song book that you can print and bring to the shows.  But unlike before, the system now remembers your songs so you never have to worry about having to go through the pain of recreating your book from scratch whenever you want to add or remove something.

Right now it prints with all the check boxes and buttons that you see on the page, but over the next couple of days, there will be a printer friendly version up.

In order to use the new SongBook feature, you must be a registered user.  So for those of you who have an account, feel free to login and check it out.  If you don't have an account, just click the register link and fill out the short form to register. 

Once you log in, you'll see checkboxes next to each song in the main song book after you do a search.  Just click the songs you want to add to your personal song book and click the "Add Checked Songs" button.  Print your list before the show and indicate the order in which you want to sing your songs and hand it to the KJ....how easy is that.  No need to wait for other singers to finish with the songbook at the show.

Tonight at Tricky Dick's in Boca Raton we'll be doing a special Friday night show starting at Midnight and going to 4AM!.  They usually have Live Bands on Friday nights but the Band had a previous commitment and the owner asked us to fill in.

So if you're looking for some late night Karaoke tonight, stop by Tricky Dick's in Boca Raton and enjoy a great night of Karaoke with your host Aimee. 

Tricky Dick's is in the Sandalfoot Shopping center on SR7, just north of Hillsboro Blvd.

For all you folks who like to tuck in early, come out to The Penalty Box in Tamarac tonght.  Show starts at 8PM so you can get a few songs in before the sandman comes calling!    The Penalty Box is a great place with tasty burgers, great drinks and the acoustics in that place are fantastic.

So join Teresa and the gang at The Penalty Box for Thursday Night Karaoke!

Got some pics from the show last Tuesday night at The Toad in Coral Springs.  As always we had a great time.  The word is starting to get out and I have no doubt it will become the place to be on Tuesday nights in Coral Springs for Karaoke! 

Here's the owner of The Toad, Jimmy, with his sexy bartender, Michelle.  Once you get out and meet Jimmy, you'll understand why The Toad is going to become the hot spot in Coral Springs.

So if you're aren't doing anything on Tuesday nights, come out and hang out with Aimee, Jimmy, Michelle and the gang at the Toad for a great night of Karaoke.

If you're not at The Toad tonight in Coral Springs you're definitely missing out!  Karaoke starts at 9PM and In The Biz Specials start tonight as well...and you never know when Jimmy (the Owner), is going to pull out a bottle of Stoli, or mix up a pitcher of Alabama Slammers and pass them around.

Last Nights Grand Opening at the Toad Bar and Grille in Coral Springs was one heck of a party.  The place was packed with new faces, and many of the regular old Goobs crowd.  I even saw people there that I hadn't seen in years from my previous job.  The party really got going around 9pm when Vanity Killz went on for their first set.  They had the place rockin like you wouldn't believe.

Being the gracious host that he is, Jimmy [the Owner] walked through the crowd while the band was playing with a bottle of Stoli in his hand, pouring shots down the throat of anyone who had the guts to tilt their head back.  [My head hurts!]

Christina, Shawn, Amiee and some friends, Ashley, Brad, and a few other karaoke regulars showed up and also joined in on the party.

The Toad was definitely the place to be in Coral Springs last night and I have no doubt it will become the place to be every saturday night. 

Hmmm..heres a thought...wouldn't it be great if we could combine Live Band night with Karaoke!  The band takes its break between sets, and we keep things going and get a few folks up there to strut their stuff....gonna have to work on that.

Ok...gotta go nurse my aching head.  Don't forget Tuesday night Karaoke at the Toad.  Its In the Biz Night!
