Last Nights Grand Opening at the Toad Bar and Grille in Coral Springs was one heck of a party.  The place was packed with new faces, and many of the regular old Goobs crowd.  I even saw people there that I hadn't seen in years from my previous job.  The party really got going around 9pm when Vanity Killz went on for their first set.  They had the place rockin like you wouldn't believe.

Being the gracious host that he is, Jimmy [the Owner] walked through the crowd while the band was playing with a bottle of Stoli in his hand, pouring shots down the throat of anyone who had the guts to tilt their head back.  [My head hurts!]

Christina, Shawn, Amiee and some friends, Ashley, Brad, and a few other karaoke regulars showed up and also joined in on the party.

The Toad was definitely the place to be in Coral Springs last night and I have no doubt it will become the place to be every saturday night. 

Hmmm..heres a thought...wouldn't it be great if we could combine Live Band night with Karaoke!  The band takes its break between sets, and we keep things going and get a few folks up there to strut their stuff....gonna have to work on that.

Ok...gotta go nurse my aching head.  Don't forget Tuesday night Karaoke at the Toad.  Its In the Biz Night!
