Saturday Night, you have two great choices for Karaoke....If you lke the beach, stop by Southern Comfort and hang out with Rachel for a great night of Karaoke.

If you're on the west side of town, visit Goobs and hang out with Aimee for an equally good time.

Either way, you're sure to have a great time!

Why do we drive on a Parkway...but park in a Driveway? wouldn't it make more sense the other way around?

i guess now i'm the LATE NIGHT corrispondent for offkeykaraoke....cause i am getting home at 7am or later after every show LOL~

hey i don't mind at all..i met some great people on these"field trips" and it's been a blast.....one request though, buy a brotha a shot or something!!! lol kidding

friday i hosted at soco for aimee..wow we had soooo much fun!!! will came out, as well as rev. ronman and holly ! speedy rocked out some good songs too..i  got toasted...did you expect anything less of me?? lee and i sang a bunch of nifty track(sure wish the recorder was there...HINT!!!!!) LOL and i finally met rachael..she really exsists!!! neat!!

also my new friends jen and sam came out to chill for a bit(<3 love ya ladies<3) and got broken in to a crazy night at soco...all in all, we had a real good time thanks lee!

Saturday was just nuts...aimee was back for goob's and boy o boy did she go all out!! our singers at goob's were all about getting a lil crazy and until closing we were rocking it out in full force!

Our first show at Tricky Dick's Pub was definitely a hit.  Even though it was short notice and we had little time to get the word out, we saw lots of familiar faces ;). 

We had a slow start but by the time I left just after midnight, things were rockin' hard.  We met a lot of great folks who made us feel right at home.  The place is comfy, the staff was friendly and service was excellent!  AJ and Darren made sure everyone was taken care of [ you guys rock ].  Dori video taped some of the action  for publishing on their website at TrickyDicksPub.com.

I want to thank Lenny for saving our butts and running home for that keyboard...he's da man!

Next time I'll make sure to have my camera with me! 

We'll be there every Wed and Mon from 10PM to 2AM, so make sure you stop by and hang out for a while! You'll definitely have a good time.

That's right, starting Tomorrow night, and every Monday and Wed, Off Key Karaoke will be at Tricky Dicks in Boca.  Sissy will be hosting so come out for our first show tomorrow night and lets get started with a BANG!

I don't have the address or phone number yet, but it's in the Sandalfoot Plaza on 441 just north of Hillsboro BLVD.   I'll have location and contact information up tomorrow.  So if you need directions, call Sissy!

I'm awake now and my fingers are cooperating.  As I said before, Goobs was amazing last night.  The place was jammed with lots of great folks who came to help us give Vic a party to remember.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!

could this weekend get any crazier??? well yeah i only got half naked and didn't go home with any random women...but friday and saturday nights were nuts!!!!

the soco crowd was totally awesome as we kept the party going til dawn at several locations.

goob's was just insane...that's all i can say......... insane....boobies and booties flying about drink after drink it got more and more insane....and once again i was out until the sun came up....man i gotta stop doing that HA!!! well i am finally home from work and in desperate need of a shower and a nap......and maybe some prozac...

oh, i was taking a lot of pix over the weekend, so if you know i took some of you and you would like them email me because i have about 300 new pix to look through and figure out where they  go...ok maybe that nap will have to wait...

The world is back in order!  My honey finally got back yesterday.   We stopped by SoCo tonight and as always, had a great time.  Except for that damn flaming drink Lee gave me...burned the crap out of my lips...but I'll take that burn any day...it was awesome!  Gotta teach the Blogmaster how to drink though...more got on his shirt than down his throat [still luv ya greg].  Still love that Patron Coffee Liquor...good stuff...better than Jager!

If you haven't heard, our good friend Vic, is leaving us next week.  Yes, that's right.  He's moving to the greener pastures of North Carolina and leaving us to suffer in the heat of Florida.  

Vic has been a loyal friend of not only Off Key Karaoke, but my family as well.  Loyalty like that is hard to come by these days...Vic will definitely be missed.

So in honor of Vic, lets give him a proper send off this Saturday at Goobs.   It's Vics Farewell Party!  So come on by, sing a few songs, buy vic a few drinks and lets share one last good time with him.

As BlogMaster Greg mentioned, Southern Comfort was definitely hoppin' last night.  The birthday boys were on hand and everyone made sure they had a good time.  I wish I would have stayed a bit later, as it seems I missed the real fun!  [Greg...I want all the nasty details!!!!]

Anyway, I finally worked out the kinks in my new recording toy and recorded several of the regulars last night.  I'll be converting the files to MP3's and will hopefully have them uploaded for your listening pleasure tonight.

well tonight started off slow, but at about 10pm......WOW!!!!!! shit started getting a little silly(at least for me)

robert recorded my "ugly kid joe" track angela and roxy showed up....2 girls i really wanna talk with about peaches n cream....HA HA HA   and hell!!! i never left the bar till 5:30am yes they close at 2am....but me larry and lee were hangin out and bullshitting for 3 hours...this is exactly what i was talking about before y'all.......lee and butch are totally awesome!!!! i love those guys, how many bar owners will hang out till 5:30am looking up funny shit online with you till you are sober enough to drive home??? yeah, not very many....SOCO has proved again why they continue to own our week with 3 nights of karaoke.....cause the owners are just that damn cool!!!!!!! i have never in all my years been so at home in a bar as i am at SOCO!!! please yall.......come out and support this fine establishment in whatever they are promoting cause lee and butch are just really cool guys... and larry is the bestest bartender ever!!! (LOL sorry dude i had to include you....allison is the shit too!!!!!!!!) see yall friday RESPECT!!!!!!!!!

Elements was off the chain tonight...i gotta say, that was the second time i ever went to a show that wasn't offkeykaraoke...YO robert....we really need to get a venue like elements!! i ended up staying till 145am they really hooked it up!! and a few really cute girls came in.....i wasn't they're type but they we're good people still...just my luck right? i meet a cute girl and she doesn't like guys...::sigh:: oh well i hope they all come out to our shows still, anyone that knows how to have fun is ALWAYS WELCOME!!!! we don't hate ever!!! so come on down y'all!! if i gave ya the card tonight and ya wanna comment on our blogs...click on the  REGISTER icon at the top of the page, if ya already did yer a nub for not posting dillhole!!!!!

Our good friend G will be turning a year older.  Lets help him celebrate his birthday at Southern Comfort this Wednesday the Off Key way.  Aimee will be hosting so as always it's sure to be a great time.   So make sure to at least stop by for a while and wish G a great B-day!

On another note, BlogMaster Greg, Ronnie, and I paid a visit to Elements Bar tonight for their KJ competition.   Finally got to meet Frankie, from Frankie-o-kie who was in the running tonight competing for some cool prizes.  We sang a few songs, had a couple of drinks and had an overall good time [damn that was the biggest glass of Patron I've ever had].

I met Melissa, who is coordinating the KJ competition and trying to put together some KJ networking parties.  We're gonna work together to see if we can put a party together at one of our regular venues so stay tuned for more info.

i don't think i have pix of them yet but we really should have some...they support our cause of insanity and alcoholism every weds. fri. and sat night with much love and RESPECT....never once have i felt unwanted at either place and in fact everytime i walk in i am greeted with a firm handshake and a smile! and that's how they treat all the patrons of the two bars....... like friends. so if you are wondering about the enviroment of either place before coming out for the first time i hope that clears it up for you...now what are you waiting for wednesday is coming and i better see some new faces at SOCO...or i'll track you down and put gum in your hair!!!!

also if you know of a bar or club in your area that might like to have a karaoke night...email robert with some contact info we'd love to try out some new places!!! first person that hooks it up, gets a full friction dance from Rev. For reasons that I will not go into here, I have cancelled all upcomming shows at Turn 3.  Truly a shame.  We had a great time there over the years, especially on Sundays with Will and Sue.  So for now, we'll be taking a break on sunday nights.  Catch us on Wednesday's, Friday's and Saturday's at SoCo, and Saturday's at Goobs.

Last night at Goob's myself robert and the rest of the offkey crew went totally ape shit rocking the house all night long....now aimee is supposed to be doing this but i don't think she has registered herself as a blogger yet so i'll go ahead and hook it up in her name!!!

hootie mcboob, Gmac, stacy, shana(our birthdaygirl), and mr. vic had everyone going nuts all night long with the songs they selected, think 80's and 90's pop/rock people!!

emily did a little country for us (she's a offkey newbie and total cutie too) and all the other singers went totally wild for the sake of entertainment for us all!!!

Although I left a bit early [midnight] the party was going strong at Turn 3.  Will and Sue, our wonderful Turn 3 staff made sure everyone felt at home as always....we love ya guys!.  Aiimee stepped in for Sissy and did a GREAT job!  A good crowd turned out,...when I left there were 18 singers in the rotation.  I got a few pics and they're posted in the Turn 3 photo album.  More pics to come as our Photo Blogger, Holly, was on the job!

I tried out a few new toys tonight...I purchased an M-Audio moble pre USB interface today that will allow me to plug directly into the board and record singers [with their permission of course] live!  Again...thanks to my good friend Omar who turned me on to this neat little box. 

I set it up at Turn 3 tonight and did a couple of test recordings...in a few weeks, I hope to have it all worked out.  Once I have it figured out, you can have your own live performace recorded and burned onto a cd right at the show [for a nominal fee...hey...I gotta feed the family!].  So stay tuned for more info!

UPDATE:  Looks like I had a better time than I thought!  And by the looks of the pics, so did everybody else!  The pics from Saturday night at Goobs are uploaded to the Goobs photo album.  Enjoy!

As expected, we had a great crowd last night at Goobs.  Fun was had all around.  Don't know what they were putting in the drinks last night, but the ladies were in RARE form. Some great pics were taken and as soon as they get to me I'll post them in the Goobs gallery and update this post with some of them. 

I totally forgot about suit night, but Rev Ronman and Greg showed up in their sunday best.  As GMAC (Greg) posted earlier, we'll go all out this Friday at Southern Comfort and do suit night again.  So watch out ladies...I look pretty damn good in a suit!

The party continues tonight at Turn 3!  Aimee will be covering for Sissy tonight, so come out and help us keep the party going.

I'll be posting my weekly drunken thoughts and other Off Key Karaoke happenings. Here's a fun Ronnie fact: I hate those pistacioes that don't have any cracks in them and are impossible to open. Anyways on to my Drunkin thought of the week. How awesome would it be to have breast implants in the palms of my hands. I'd do nothing but squeeze my hands all day. Everyone would want to shake my hand. Sure there would be set backs like trying to hold a microphone or hold anything at all for that matter. And after a while would they sag? But I think the good would far outweigh the bad!

BTW, Aimee finally returned this week from vacation and showed why she's the best KJ this side of the New River (North for anyone keeping count).
