Off Key Karaoke

Tonight is definitely going to be a good one with two shows.  For those over on the West side, Aimee is back at Goobs tonight!  All her friends have been waiting for her return so I'm sure it will be one heck of a show. 

For those of you who prefer the beach atmosphere, Rachel is back at Southern Comfort hosting her usual Saturday night show so it should be a good time there too.  Ask the Bartender for a bit of that Patron Coffee liqour they just got in...if you like Jager you'll love this stuff!

UPDATE:  Things were looking good when I left SoCo Friday night, but by the looks of the pics, they party really got going after I left.  Looks like everyone had a great time!  Check out the pics in the Southern Comfort photo gallery!

If you've got no where to go, or are looking for a good time out, stop by Southern Comfort tonight and join your host Aimee in a fun filled Karaoke evening!  The food is great (my personal favorites are the mini-burgurs), the drinks are reasonable, the sound system is fantastic and the atmosphere can't be beat.

Hmmmm, funny thing about retirement.  People can never seem to stay retired for long, can they?  So, I guess it's not really a surprise that I returned to do Saturday's show at SoCo.  I have to admit, I had a freakin' blast!  We had a HUGE turnout:  some new faces, old faces, strange faces....!  HAPPY FREAKIN' BIRTHDAY TO WENDA AND EMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thanks for spending it with Off key!  You guys rock!

Hey, Ash....we have some serious interpretive dance competition!  Britta and Emily were all over it!  But can they do the mailbox?  I have to say, if I ever do another show, it's worth it just to come out to see mine and Ashley's "Chore Medley"!  ....And to sing......of course, to sing..............!

Thanks for making my night so much fun.  It's almost enough to make me rethink retirement........Almost.

I got to host at Goob's tonight.... we had a great time even though we didn't have our crowd we usually have there, it still was fun!!

Jorge rocked a lot of awesome songs, as did Rev. Ronman!! we had an awesome new singer...at least for me he was James aka GUNNY rocked some country that was out of this world...al in all i'm glad i got to do the show, i had a great time and got to spend my night with some great people

Last nights show at turn 3 was crazy slammed! we had a bunch of new singers! as well as our regular culprits!  A2daN2daG2daE2daLALALALALA and aunt betty(LOL) kept it groovin, Vic and Will brought a lil flavoer to the mix and Tom and Jeff kept the classic rock rockin REAL hard!!!!!

our new singers we're GREAT!!! Katie and Jimmy livened it up with bad company and billy idol!

and as always Rev. Ronman and Sean(the Bobcat) hartley did the famous signature songs : the ballad of chasey lain and i used to love her... all in all another bomb as karaoke show by sissy and offkeykaraoke!!!!

can we do any less than kick ass??? nah i didn't think so!

i'll try and get the photos soon also we're gonna video tape the singers (at your request of course)

and i'm making a offkeykaraoke myspace to post them on so you guys can watch your songs....NIFTY HUH???

What's up everybody!  I have some super-dee-duper news.

Ok, so here it is:

For one night...and one night only...your favorite KJ will be coming out of retirement to do a show!  I'll be at SoCo on Saturday, September 23 for your listening and viewing pleasure.  Or if nothing else, you can always just come to laugh at me, cause ya'll know I love to act a fool! 

As always, I accept tips in the form of alcoholic beverages.  Jager does the trick and pretty much garauntees a late show, but there's not much I'll say no to.  Hey, wait a minute.  Get your minds out of the gutter.

I know I'm rambling, but Robert wanted me to write a lot so the home page looks good, so you can take it up with him if you think my blog is stupid.  It's all his fault!  That's right, Robert...I called you out!

Anyway, as much as I hate to admit it, I'm sooo looking forward to seeing all you fools!  I miss all my peeps!  So come see me, luvahs!

As always, a great crowed came out to party last night.  As the night wore on and the tequila flowed, the fun increased and pics got a bit more interesting as you can tell by the photo below!

Three guesses at who these belong to and the first two don't count. 

We had a bit of a rough start, since my darling daughter left the keyboard we need to sometimes get the CAV player started at Goobs (funny...goobs..boobs) on Saturday night.. 

But thanks to our awesome bar manager, Will, who let us borrow a keyboard, we were able to get the show going without too much delay.

As always, had some great singers and everyone seemed to have a good time.  I know I did...but then again, after a few glasses of Patron, I'm pretty easy to keep entertained.

Our new Photo Blogger, Holly, was there with camera in hand and no one was safe.  She got some great shots.  Check out the Turn 3 photo gallery. 

If you're at one of the shows, and you see a camera flash, it's probably her. Thanks for the pics Holly!

It was Mike's birthday yesterday and we helped him celebrate it in the traditional Turn 3 way.  Well, gotta run off to work.  Catch you later.

I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone that helped me out getting started with the crew here at off key karaoke.....first and foremost Sissy!!!!!!! she has been a real friend in all of this...and i have tried many times to push the buttons (TEEHEE!!!) i just can't seem to get her upset HAHAHAHHAAH except when i don't sing new kids on the block (wink wink)....MAMA aka DORIS and mah homie fo sho ROBERT aka SnoopRobbie Rob(lol) for giving me a shot at this karaoke thingy ima make y'all proud! and all the rest of my peeps at SOCO, GOOB'S, and TURN 3. for showin the love every weds, friday, sat., and sunday! i hope we all have many more night of fun togther!

Hey everyone!  Welcome to the new Off Key Karaoke Blog Site.  Now, everyone can take part in making this the best karaoke site on the web! 

A lot of new features are here now.  You can register and post comments on blog entries, and in a few weeks, you'll be able to save your song listing so you don't have to re-create it every time like you did on the old site.  BTW...the print song book feature is offline right now until the new one is ready to go!

We'll be posting stuff after every show, so if you see one of us with the camera out, don't be suprised if you see yourself in one of the picture galleries. 

I'd also like to take a moment to introduce everyone to our BlogMaster....Greg!  He'll be helping me make sure we keep the site fresh and updated.   Greg will also be covering for Sissy out at Turn 3 for a couple of weeks while she takes a vacation [must be nice huh].

We had a great time at Goobs last night.  Met some great new singers.  Didn't get any shots of them though....will get them tonight at Turn 3.
